Artist Sean “Cheeks” Galloway has really thrown himself into his work.
He’s the character designer on The Spectacular Spider-Man. This is from last weeks episode titled Catalysts. He’s the DJ at the school dance. I really dig his work, and I love that he has a cameo in the cartoon. I’m going to have to go back and watch the other episodes to see if he showed up in any of them too.

I’m trying not to give too much away as to what my entry will be about, but I wanted to throw out a logo that I did for my new Star Wars cartoon.

here’s a cool animation I came across today.
*update* I didn’t see a way to kill the audio on this animation so I have made a link to it instead of embedding it in the page.
Go check out the animation at Cold Hard Flash.

I have a friend who’s a Police Detective. He had shown my video to all of his co-workers and was really excited to see the Bandit. I drove it into the office so that I could go and meet them after work. I figure that with a car like that, it wouldn’t hurt to have lots of friends at the Police Station.
As I’ve been looking for a new job, I’ve made some connections with some old friends. Leanne and I worked at KnowlegeNet together about 8 years ago. She’s working at Rainbow Studios making video games and their offices are very close to my work. I invited her and some of her co-workers to come over and see that Bandit. They all seemed pretty interested in the car.
IN FACT! I took the car back to the studio yesterday to audition the car to have it recorded to be one of the car sounds in an upcoming game! The audition seemed to go well, I just have to find out when the recording session will be.
Here are some photos from first time I met the Rainbow Studio crew.

George Lucas has said that the inspiration for Star Wars and Indiana Jones was the old Saturday Serials from the 1930’s. Well a diehard fan has cut the Raiders of the Lost Ark into 14 chapters that will be shown every week. I love the intro and the classic “Cliffhanger” ending, but overall, the black and white was just too dark. See for yourself.

I was making the Marvel Masterpieces Sketch Cards and I thought that since I’ve been working on my drawing style that I would try out making an animated sequence. These cards are pretty thick, so I couldn’t really use a light table to make the animation perfect so I just made it close. I animated Peter Parker being taken over by the alien symbiote. For more information on this alien go to wikipedia.

Here’s something that I found on YouTube. It just goes to show you that what can be done with a little bit of video equipment, a computer, some audio, and an IDEA!
The video starts out strong, looses a bit of steam and then leaves you with a smile.

This is the online portfolio of Spencer L. Brinkerhoff III. You will need Flash Player to view parts of this website. I have lots of different interests, and am involved in many different projects. I like cartoons and animation, movies and independent video projects, Star Wars, Indiana Jones and general adventure. I draw, shoot video, illustrate, animate, sculpt and am a husband and father. I think that I'll try my hand at blogger. Anybody know how to make money at this?
