That New Old Feeling

One of the things that I really enjoy about the new Star Wars: The Clone Wars TV show is classic feel.  The original Star Wars movie is based off of the cliff hanger serials that George Lucas watched as a kid.  So it makes sense that these new cartoons open up with a movie reel voice over prompting us with all the pertinent information from previous episodes.  That’s why I was so excited to see that the WWII era has these shows.  One of the things that I got most excited about was the way that some of the vehicles have been decorated with nose art like some of the old bombers.  I’ve decided to try and put together a series of my own Star Wars nose art images.  Here’s one of the first ones.

I love the noseart. Funny how great minds think alike! This is the logo from a ks/mo collecting site that I’m a member of (we have this on a t shirt)

That’s a good looking logo Drew, and yes we must be great minds because we think alike.

It’s from a site I’m on. I didn’t draw it up, one of our other members did, just wanted to link it up here to show the similarity in vision there.
