So, let’s go ahead and start this month better than I ended last month. I got a bit wrapped up in things and didn’t get around to posting anything new up here. The good news is that I’m working on some fun projects, the bad news is that I can’t say everything about them just yet (nothing major, I just don’t want to spoil the fun). So on to the post for today.
Here’s some images of a new Shadow Box commission. I had lots of fun putting this one together. When I was first getting ready to draw again, I was testing out my new markers and I drew a picture of Luke in Stormtrooper armor. I sure am glad that I got to drawing again. My style has really improved!

There are 5 layers in this Shadowbox. One day I’ll figure out how to properly photograph them. ;]

I’ve had such a wonderfully good time making these shadow boxes that I’ve decided to open them up for commission. I started making them for as a display case for the various sketch card sets that I work on, but it really can be more than that. Think of a character or a scene that you like and the shadow box can be made. Spider-man, Batman, Voltron, My Little Pony whatever it is, a custom commissioned one-or-a-kind work can be created. Next up on my list will more than likely be some characters from the Twilight book series.
To order the commissioned shadow box as well as buy the last 3 Indiana Jones Shadow boxes that I have you can go over to the Store that I set up. I’m not really a programer so this is the beta store, I can promise you that it will get better. I’ve added a STORE! button to the top Navigation or you could just click here.

I was looking at some of the characters in the Fellowship of the StinkBugs print that I did and it just struck me as funny to put these two guys together.

This one if for my brother. We grew up watching the Transformers. I used to record the show and then pause it on the character’s faces so I could draw them all. My brother suggested that I draw my new car as a Transformer. Since my kids have been enjoying the new Transformers Animated cartoon, my first attempt at the character is in the new style. If I get a chance, I’d like to go back and re-draw him in a 1980’s style. Check out the characters in the store.
