Feb. 24th is FREE! National Pancake Day

Join IHOP to celebrate National Pancake Day on Tues. Feb. 24th from 7AM-10PM. They’ll be giving away one free short stack of buttermilk pancakes (limit one frree shorte stack per guest for dine-in while supplies last). They only ask that you consider making a donation to support local children’s hospitals through the Children’s Miracle Network. more info
Known also as Fat Tuesday or Mardi Gras, National Pancake Day dates back several centuries to when the English prepped for fasting during Lent. Strict rules prohibited the eating of all dairy products during Lent, so pancakes were made to use up the supply of eggs, milk, butter and other dairy products…hence the name Pancake Tuesday, or Shrove Tuesday.

What I’ve been looking for

My sister-in-law had never seen High School Musical and with the DVD release of the third movie coming last Tuesday we all sat down and watched the movies. My wife has decided that she and I need to re-create the song and dance number “What I’ve Been Looking For” at the next family reunion. Truth be told I’d love to do it. I really enjoy this song. Also, I felt the HSM3 was a pretty fun movie. It was a good way to tie all the movies together with bigger and better dance numbers.
