Well, it has begun! I wrote a post before about the idea of releasing new creative content onto the internet and completely skipping tv. Here’s what it looks like.

My 2 year old son wanted to play with some of the new Galactic Heroes sets. We had some old ones in there too, but I really didn’t want him to lose Darth Vader’s helmet (not to mention that the box clearly states the this toy has a choking hazard and is meat for ages 3+). So I took the helmet aside and put it with our little R4-P17 that came to us with two left feet (AND it can’t dance!). I was looking for someplace to put the helmet down and found the perfect spot.
And thus was born R4-V8r (pronounced ARE-Four VADER).

I got my purchase order from the Star Wars Shop. I’m very pleased to have to spend the evening signing my prints and the boxing them up to send off to shipping. Thanks everybody who bough a print! I’m not sure how many they have left, so run over and check it out on their site or email me for more information.

Reuters reported this morning that an expected launch announcement from T-mobile and Google was expected September 23rd in New York City. I haven’t been following this too closely, but I’m interested in seeing what the HTC Dream is all about. I haven’t decided whether or not I’ll be upgrading my cell phone bill so that I can have the pleasure of using this super mobile device.
