SDCC Sunday

By the time I got to Sunday, I was pooped!  I didn’t take many pictures but here’s what I got.  First is the leg lamp from A Christmas Story and then a sketch that I did.

 I was sitting with a group of artists that are called Scarab Studios.  Every year at ComicCon the work on a Jam Piece.  Everybody works together to make one big piece and then donate it for a charity auction.  With the new Watchmen movie coming out the Jam piece was all about the Watchmen.  It’s been awhile since I read the Watchmen comic and I need to re-read it before the movie, but the whole story follows the doomday clock.  I was asked if I wanted to contribute and work on the 7:00 section.  I was late for the actual aution, but I’m pleased to announce that the piece went for about $750.00 in the auction.
