Calling Dr. Jones

I did it. I went to see the new Indiana Jones movie at 12:20 AM. There were a lot of familiar moments that referenced the history of the Indiana Jones films. About 20 minutes into the movie I got a bit tired of them referencing the past movies, but they didn’t stop. There WERE some great moments that were punctuated by equally great GROAN moments. On the way home I found myself wondering what it would have been like to get a new director and producer to do this sequel. Someone that grew up watching and loving these movies and not someone trying to pay homage to the cliffhanger serials.

Anyway, I’m going to move on to other work and let my thought stew a bit. It was really fun to walk into the theater and have everyone cheer for me.
