Captain Dan Art

My friend Dane Ault published a book called “Captain Dan Takes a Day Off” last year. He is preparing to make a second book about the adventures of the Pirate Captain Dan and he has asked me to do a illustration for the back of the book. Traditionally this contribution is called a “Pin-up” but it felt a bit odd to think of this pirate as some sort of a calendar girl…
