I love conference calls

So, I made a video for the Bandit contest (and won! woo hoo!!), finished a wedding video, and THEN I completed my Lord of the Rings Sketch Card set. I drew sketches on 106 trading cards. Having never done the card sets before I had big plans that never came to light. I ended up getting comfortable with a couple of characters and then redrawing them. So, when I was in a conference call today, I sat down and started to draw the characters.

Those are pretty sweet looking! I used to draw all the time. I miss those days….

Thanks Clint. I was actually the same way. I made a contact with an animation company in Utah that seemed to be a great fit. They liked my animation samples but said my drawing skill were weak. SO, I took on a low paying job doing sketches for a news paper in Pennsylvania so that I could be sketching at least once a week. That’s the same reason that I decided to do the Lord of the Rings Cards, I wanted to have a reason to sketch more often. I’m having lots of fun doing it.
