One of my friends over at the RebelScum forums just pointed out the connections between the Star Wars Celebration V (tee hee), Orlando Florida, the 30th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back, and then I added Orlando Bloom to the mix to create the photoshop masterpiece below.

I have just completed a new banner illustration for the collecting site Mint in Box. All of their previous banners have included Boba Fett in them, which makes perfect sense to me since he IS the ultimate Star Wars collector. Here is a link to the google translated site with the new banner.
I first met the guys at Mint in box at Celebration Japan and then we keep running into each other even though they are from France. When we met up at Fan Days III they had commissioned the falcon cockpit shadow box and they took a TON of wonderful photos.

So watching the latest episode of the Clone Wars cartoon I noticed something interesting. There’s a scene when two clones that have been infected by these parasites fire on the Jedi and Ahsoka flips over the table in a pose that I’d seen drawn by Katie Cook.

They were able to knock the clones out and then two more came rushed in responding to the blasters they had heard. Even though they are clones, they do look a bit different. I think that this clone looks a bit like Ken the Elvis trooper. :D

Well, it’s actually Celebration V, but I just can’t get the “V” out of my head! So August 12th-15th, 2010 in Orlando Florida will be the next big Star Wars convention. I hope that I get invited to the event. I’ve love to make another Star Wars print. You can learn more at StarWars.com or the Celebration V site.
